“رنج روفر” اوتوبيوغرافي تشارك في حفل إطلاق طائرة الفضاء الجديدة Range Rover 2016

المربع نت – للمساعدة في إطلاق طائرة الفضاء الجديدة المسماة بـ فيرجين جالاكتيك سبيش شيب تو بولاية كاليفورنيا, قامت لاند روفر بتقديم سيارتها رينج روفر اوتوبيوغرافي لسحب الطائرة من أجل الإطلاق الأول لطائرة الفضاء الجديدة.
(فيرجين جالاكتيك هي شركة مختصة بالرحلات الفضائية السياحية)
إن لاند روفر وشركة فيرجين جالاكتيك قامتا بعقد اتفاقية شراكة أثناء شهر ابريل بعام 2014 السابق, وبحسب ستيفين أتينبورو المدير التجاري بشركة فيرجين جالاكتيك فإنه ومنذ بداية شراكتهم مع لاند روفر في عام 2014 فإن الشركة كانت جزءًا يوميًّا لا يتجزّأ من فريق العمل على الطائرة, وأنهّم يتطلعون وبشدة للمزيد من التعاون المستقبلي في مجالات الهندسة والبرمجة والتصميم وجميع المجالات, وبهذا فقد كان من المناسب أن تكون أحدث سيارة رائدة للاند روفر أن تشارك في حفل إطلاق سفينة الفضاء الجديدة حيث أنه لا توجد سيارة أنسب للمشاركة بإطلاق الطائرة أكثر من سيارة رينج روفر اوتوبيوغرافي الرائدة.
إن طائرة فضاء فيرجين جالاكتيك سبيس شيب تو تُعرفُ رسميًّا تحت إسم VSS وهو اسم أطلقه عليها ستيفن هوكينج العالم الفيزيائي الشهير, الطائرة هي أحدث طائرة فضاء في هذا العصر ويُأمل أن تجعل من السياحة الفضائية واقعًا وهذا بعد التوقعات التي خلّفتها الطائرة الأولى التي أنتجتها فيرجين جالاكتيك, طائرة VSS انتربريس التي تحطّمت في حادث منذ 16 شهرًا.
